Great!

The location was super close the Jeju market. The room was clean and it was nice to have a bathtub specially in the winter time.

Everything is great but it was a little bit noise from the hotel when we tried to take a quick nap. Otherwise, it was great experience.

Location was excellent, walking distance to Black Pork Street, the Marina Seafood, many good eateries/restaurants (especially local breakfast; and market. Easily accessible public transport.

Great old hotel in an unbeatable location

Excellent location, near the market and a number of bus routes (15 mins by bus from airport), a big room, nice even if old fittings. Great shower. Very good value for money.

Lumpy hard old mattress a bit hard to sleep on, small pillows, worn slippers. A bit of black mould in the bathroom. Nothing that can't be fixed or got around.

We had a good stay at this hotel with excellent location and good clean room.

The location is excellent! The room is clean.

Our room is on 5th floor, and we need to first go to 3rd floor by elevator, then go to another block via a small bridge, and then walk up to 5th, which is quite inconvenient indeed. We asked the hotel to help us book a taxi to the airport when leaving. He did help us do that. But actually there are many taxis going around. There should be no need for us to make booking which is at a much higher price. He should have told us about that.

Simple, comfortable, economical.

Pretty basic, and no gym or pool or breakfast or anything but I knew that up front. This is simply a comfortable, simple place to stay while you go and explore Jeju. Good for transport links. Close to airport. Plenty of eating facilities around etc

Easier ports for charging items, but desk was very kind and lend adaptors to use.

Good normal low cost hotel

OK, have also room inside the building for the bicycle. Nice reception people.

People banging the doors, partly due to locks and doors. Nearby lot of restaurants, but almost all Korean.

This place has a very interesting thing: it's preserved in time, so you get a 70s/80s like Korean retro vibe. It's interesting because you can tell the owners are preserving it and it's good. It's very clean and the staff was helpful. There's a bathtub and there are big towels (a rare thing in Korea) and it's great. If you're more of a modern-type of rooms/hotels kind of person this is not your place. The location is very convenient considering the places you can go to from Jeju city.

Noise isolation doesn't work very well. If you're more of a modern-type of rooms/hotels kind of person this is not your place. Jeju city is ok, but I wouldn't stay there for long. There was no view really from our room and they REALLY need a ramp for people using wheelchairs and for suitcases with wheels/rollers.

Jeju Oct 2022 trip

Wonderful location, near to Dongmun traditional market, shopping street and black pork street. Spacious room, able to lay out 2 24 inches luggages with ease. Heated wood flooring. Helpful staff in getting us a taxi at 5am. Free upgrade for our 4 nights stay.

The decoration is dated and the pathway (slope stair) leading to the extended building is a bit steep and scary at first. The power sockets are round and the universal adapter cannot be used due to the size. The toilet is wet as there is no shower curtain. Pillows are too soft.

Good stay except for location!

The room was good and it's important that it had a kettle, coffee and tea. The staff were very nice and helpful with directions. The accommodation is well located if you want to stay near the airport. The accommodation itself is a good value for money.

Very far away from all the attractions especially if ure targeting forests, waterfalls and beaches!! Even with a car, it's very far! I used busses and wasted most of my day in commuting.

Good

The staff was friendly and the room was relatively clean and well kept, considering how old the hotel is. Location was great as well as it was right beside the night market.

The washroom door was too heavy to open/close. The hotel got noisy at night time and felt a little unsafe, I suppose the old decor had something to do with it.

Good hotel, good price

I’ve stayed at Daedong twice. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s comfortable, clean, and in a good location. Even though it’s not fancy, I appreciated the small touches like the caffeine-free tea bag that I could make in the evening before bed. I would stay again on my next trip to Jeju City.

Excellent

Room is spacious and clean. Room facilities are exactly as advertised. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can borrow a cellphone charger or adapter from the staff. Location is very near to the underground market where there are a lot of cheap stores and restaurants. There's also a river where you can take some pictures. Also near to the Jungang Church, the cathedral of the Diocese of Jeju.

Nothing. Cable TV has a lot of channels but you may have trouble finding English shows but that's understandable.
